As part of Channel 4’s attempt to simplify its commissioning structure with fewer genres and layers, the genre chiefs for drama, entertainment, factual, and features and daytime will take the Festival stage. Caroline Hollick, Phil Harris, Danny Horan, and Glasgow-based Jo Street, each of whom reports directly to chief content officer Ian Katz, will detail what the new set-up means in terms of decision-making They will also be getting into the specifics, and giving their views on what’s moving the dial in their individual areas, and what they are in the market for at the moment.
