Having made waves with its drama Originals, Netflix is upping the ante in unscripted. Ben Kelly and Daisy Lilley are across the UK-originated nonfiction output at the streamer at a crucial time. Hear what differentiates a Netflix nonfiction original from the crowd, how ‘Too Hot to Handle’ and the existing slate is performing, how new shows will be developed and released, and how Netflix looks after contestants and talent.
As the SVOD platform looks to take UK-originated nonfiction ideas global, Kelly and Lilley will also clue in producers on how to pitch and work with Netflix. Festival-goers will also get the inside track on some major new unscripted shows coming out of the UK for the service.
