Zai Bennett oversees programming across Sky’s entertainment, cinema, and kids’ channels and services. As the Comcast-owned pay- and free-TV giant rejigs its channel line-up – Sky One is being replaced with Sky Max and Sky Showcase – Bennett will look ahead to what that means for subscribers, and those supplying content to Sky. With programming spend on the up at Sky, Bennett will also break down where the extra cash is going and what the priority areas are as the volume of original content increases. As a US-owned mainstay of the UK TV scene, the discussion will also take in Sky’s place in the British TV ecosystem.
