When Covid 19 struck, few could have foreseen the seismic shift it would bring to the UK television industry. Overnight we adapted to development, commissioning and sometimes even production via Zoom. 18 months on from the start of the first legal lockdown, we examine how the pandemic has specifically impacted Nations & Regions. Is remote working now part of the mainstream and is the ‘£250 coffee’ for producers outside of London, a thing of the past? Has the industry in the Nations & Regions gained more than it has lost? Are the environmental and work / life benefits arising from remote working so significant that we’ll protect them going forward? Has the quality of relationships with commissioners improved as we’ve exchanged ideas whilst thrust into each other’s spare rooms?
Join our panel of esteemed industry professionals as we look at how Nations & Regions is powering up post pandemic.
